A Smithsonian-affiliated museum that first opened its doors in 1976, the National Museum of American Jewish History presents educational experiences and programs that explore and celebrate the history of Jewish America, with the goal of connecting Jews to their heritage and inspire in all visitors a greater appreciation for Jewish contributions to our Nation’s history.
