About This Location

Founded in 1907 as Dropsie College (later University), the Katz Center is now an advanced Jewish studies center of the University of Pennsylvania. The center attracts preeminent scholars from around the world to study Judaism. Its library features the most advanced technologies and services linking various campus collections and global networks of information. The Center also hosts the Jewish Quarterly Review, the oldest continuously-published journal of Judaic studies in English.
